Fresher’s Welcome Party 2015

The 26th of August was marked as a memorable day in the life of every fresher at Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy & Research students. The Fresher’s day was a day that was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The chief guest for the day was Shri. Ravi Sawant Sir. Principal Dr.K.R.Khandelwal in his address to the students, explained the importance of Pharmacy field and role of Pharmacist. Also, he introduced the infrastructure of college and facilities which are provided to the students.
The dress code for the Fresher’s day was ‘Dress your Best’ for Fresher’s. The celebration started of sharp at 9.00 am with the opening prayer followed by the welcome address by Principal Dr.K.R.Khandelwal. The Freshers were formally welcomed into the RSCOP&R family, the chief guest and the other guests of the day were introduced. The program kick-started with the introduction prayer song and the lightening of lamp. All the participants were well dressed, conforming to the dress code and they ready to perform.
Shreyash Joshi, II nd year M.Pharm student presented his talent on tabala and Sagar Kumbhar Third Year B.Pharm student presented his talent – A Sand Art.
The participants had to perform the game and judged by the staff members. All the participants were eagerly waiting to know the results, the judgment was based on the performing style and speed of the participant. The results were finally declared at the end of the game by judges.
The juniors put up various performances like dancing and singing to entertain their seniors, all the juniors were enjoying having a great time, the sponsors had given out various gift and prizes for the winners and participants. Mr. Fresher was Ninad Sutar and Ms. Fresher was Anuradha Kakade.
The program concluded with the vote of thanks and finally with the national anthem, all the freshers including the senior’s rocked the show and enjoyed the celebrations and all thanked the HOD, staff and seniors students for hosting such a nice program that they could cherish lifelong. The event was sponsored by JSPMs and ‘II nd year B.Pharm students’, and provided break fast and lunch.
