NSS Activity: 'National Girl Child Day' Celebration
NSS unit of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research (RSCOPR), virtually celebrated ‘National Girl Child Day’ on 24th Jan. 2022.
“Give the Girl Child, wings to Fly, let her blossom and touch the Sky.”
On International Girl Child Day, Institute organized various activities through a virtual platform to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges they face around the world. The purpose of the celebration was to increase awareness on the importance of girl education, and their health and nutrition.
Ishwari Randive, Sakshi Waghmare, from S.Y. B. Pharm drawn beautiful drawings of International Girl Child Day. Prof. Minal Solanki gave an insight into the various schemes like “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” implemented by the Indian Government to empower girls for their sustainable development and end-all kind of discrimination towards them.
