NSS Activity: Gender Discrimination Awareness Workshop
NSS Unit of JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade actively participated in SPPU organized Gender discrimination awareness workshop on 24th and 25th March 2022.
Gender discrimination is the discrimination of a person on the basis of gender or gender bias.
The workshop was conducted by the Baya karve womens study center, Pune. The inspirational speech related to Gender discrimination was delivered by the speakers Dr. Ranade ma'am and associated collegues, Baya karve womens study center. The workshop was about gender equality and the gender descremination. The information regarding equal contribution of womens and mens in the society was given . On thhe basis of the topic they have conducted different activities like Drama, Poster presentation on the schemes from Goverment, Educational, and from family background. Mr. Manish Suryavanshi and Ms. Anushka Shinde from our Institute participated in drama. Health related tips are given by Physiotherapist. And also motivated to look after yourself to stay positive always and gave time to analyse yourself.
