PCOS AWARENESS SEMINAR
JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy & Research, Tathawade in collaboration with CORONA Remedies Ahmedabad, had organized a seminar on “PCOS Awareness” on 24 th February 2023. Dr. Madhuri Roy Founder & Director of Conceive IVF, a renowned IVF expert, laproscopic surgeon and gynecologists delivered a talk on PCOS Awareness.
Dr Madhuri Roy explained various factors that cause PCOS,Signs and symptoms of PCOS, lifestyle changes required to prevent incidence of PCOS and importance of exercise to prevent PCOS.She also stressed on complications of PCOS which include infertility, Gestational diabetes or pregnancy-induced high blood pressure, miscarriage or premature birth.
Dr Madhuri discussedabout recent medical innovations involved in treatment and management of PCOS. The RSCOPR ladies fraternity and girl students of all classes were present for the seminar.
At the end Dr. Madhuri asserted that all ladies and girls attending seminar should act as ambassadors and spread the awareness regarding PCOS in society at large.
