Two Days State Level Workshop On “Industry-Institute Linkage”
JSPM’s, Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy & Research, Tathawade, Pune, has organized Savitribai Phule Pune University Sponsored Two Days State Level Workshopon “Industry-Institute Linkage”on 2nd and 3rd February 2023. Students, Research Scholars and Faculty Members from various colleges participated in the workshop. Principal, Dr. K.R.Khandelwal was the Convener and Dr.Trupti Deshpande was the coordinator of the workshop. All the faculty members actively participated in the event. Eminent resource persons from industry were invited as speakers for the workshop Speakers were Ms. Archana Gawade, Elite Institute of Pharma Skills, Pune, Mr. Anant Malgatti, Himalay Wellness Company, Pune, Mr. SanjayKumar Wawale, Sovereign Healthcare, Pune, Mr. Vinayak Pankhade, SBI General Insurance Company Ltd., Pune.
The inaugural session of the workshop began with the lighting oflamp by the dignitaries followed by welcome speech delivered by Dr. Trupti Deshpande with a brief insight on the theme ofthe workshop. The first speaker Ms. Archana Gawadedelivered speech on Medical Coding in India: CPC Certification and Career Scope and motivated the students.Mr. Anant Malgatti, through his deliberation on topic Career opportunities for a Pharma Graduate in sales and marketing explainedthe role of soft skills in career development.Second day Mr. SanjayKumar Wawale shared his experiences through his topic of Future Scope and Career Opportunities for Pharma Studentsand elaborated the role of communication and leadership in Pharmaceutical business and employment. Last session was conducted by very enthusiastic Mr. Vinayak Pankhade he enlighten us on topic of Opportunities in Health Insurance Introduction of SBI General Insurance Company.
The workshopwas concluded with the valedictory program and vote of thanks by Dr. Trupti Deshpande. All the teaching and nonteaching staff members along with Students took effort for the successful execution of the event.
