Celebration of International Women’s Day 2022-23
JSPM's Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade, Pune in collaboration with The YOUNG INSPIRATORS NETWORK (YIN) organized Women's Day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Students of B. Pharmacy organized Women’s day on Wednesday, 08/03/2023 at seminar Hall. Programme started at 3.00 PM. The Programme was inaugurated with the lamp lightening and sarswati Pujan. Inauguaral speech was given by Prof. Shruti Aher. In her speech she addressed that their should be a gender equality, also addressed that girls should know their right to defend themselves and be careful against crimes against women. Gauree was anchor for the program. Spontaneous speech given by students on women empowerment followed by poem recitation by many students. At the end of Program all Mavshi’s were felicitated with rose as token of appreciationand gratitude. All teaching and no-teaching ladies staff, girl students were present for programme. Prof. Madhavi Bindu given vote of thanks. Program was successfully ended with Vande Mataram.
