Report on Electoral Literacy Club
JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade, Punecreated an “Electoral Literacy Club” (ELCs)on Friday, 29thApril 2023, to aware the students about voting.Through this club weengaged students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitise them on their electoral rights and familiarise them with the electoral process of registration and voting. Principal Dr. K. R. Khandelwal, Nodal officer of ELCsDr.Trupti Deshpande, Prof.Nilimakinekar&Prof.MadhaviBindi, members of ELCs, Adarsh Tiwari &VaibhavRathod students representative of Electoral Literacy Club. Nodal officer and members of club guided the students about what is voting?Importance of voting, what is the eligibility criteria to vote in India? How can children get involved in the election process?At Electoral Literacy Club, learning meets fun. Activities and Games are designed to stimulate and motivate students provoking them to think and ask questions. Also strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.
