Celebration of International Women’s Day
JSPM's RajarshiShahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade, Pune organized Women's Day in collaboration with Young Ispirator Networkto celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Students of B. Pharmacy organized Women’s dayon Wednesday, 08/03/2023 at seminar Hall.Programme started at 3.00 PM. The Programme was inaugurated with the lamp lightening and sarswati Pujan. Inauguaral speech was given by Prof. Shruti Aher. In her speech she addressed that there should be a gender equality, also addressed that girls should know their right to defend themselves and be careful against crimes against women. Teesha Sahu and Sakshi Masne were anchors for the program. Spontaneous speech given by studentson women empowerment followed by poem recitation by many students. All teaching and no-teaching ladies staff, girl students were present for programme. Prof. Madhavi Bindu given vote of thanks. Program was successfully ended with Vande Mataram.
