Entrepreneurship Development in Pharmaceutical Field

A One Day State level Seminar on “Entrepreneurship Development in Pharmaceutical Field” was held at Seminar Hall of Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research on 13th Feb. 2016.  The event was sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The proceedings of the seminar can be unfurled into three parts. The first part included the inaugural session, part two of the seminar consisted of presentations and the final part included a valedictory session which marked the end of the academic event.

The inaugural session of the seminar began at 9:30 am with the lighting of lamp by the dignitaries that included Mr. Viresh Nyati, Director, Nyati Healthcare, Pune; Mr. Rahul Chordiya, Director, Bioscience Pvt. Ltd; Mrs. Archana Gawade, Director, Elite Institute of Pharma Skills, Pune; Convener Principal Dr.K.R.Khandelwal, Programme Co-ordinator Dr.Avinash Tekade; Associate Co-ordinators Dr. Atul Sayare and Dr. Ashlesha Pandit.

Following the lighting of lamp, a welcome speech was delivered by Dr.Avinash Tekade, Prof, Pharmaceutics Dept, a brief insight on the theme of the seminar by Rucha Thanekar and key note addresses by Sheetal Shinde and Pallavi Argade. The inaugural session concluded with the delivery of vote of thanks by Shreyas Joshi.

Three sessions of presentations were successfully held under the theme titled “Entrepreneurship Development in Pharmaceutical Field”. Two presentations were held in the first Session. The first presenter,  Mr. Viresh Nyati, Director, Nyati Healthcare, Pune; spoke on how to become a successful entrepreneur and motivated the students for the same and Mr. Rahul Chordiya, Director, Bioscience Pvt. Ltd shared his experiences and explained how to tackle the problems in the initial phase. The first session of presentations were followed by a lunch break and the second session proceeded at 2.00 pm. Speaker Mrs. Archana Gawade, Director, Elite Institute of Pharma Skills, Pune explained the documents requirement for entrepreneurship.

The seminar concluded with the valedictory programme. The individuals who shared their experiences, on behalf of the groups that they represent, felt that the event was fruitful and highly enriching.  Adding on to that, the day long event indeed provided a platform for thought provoking discussions that was initiated and laid down by persons of  high intellectual caliber, through their presentations on diverse areas of “Entrepreneurship Development in Pharmaceutical Field”.
