Principal Dr.K.R.Khandelwal attended APTI – RAKMHSU International Convention held at UAE.

Principal Dr.K.R.Khandelwal attended the International Convention of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India in association with RAK Medical & Health Sciences University, RAK College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Convention was  held at RAKMHSU Auditorium, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE on 29th Feb 2016. The theme for Convention was “Modern Trends in Pharmacy Education : Team Based Learning & Institutional Research”.

Inauguration was done by Dr.Yasser E.H.Al Nuaimi. Advisor, Ministry of Health, Pro Chancellor, RAK MHSU. Guest of Honor was Dr.M.D.Bhurande, President APTI, India. Inaugural address was given by Dr.S.Gurumadhva Rao, Vice Chancellor, RAKMHSU.

The proceedings of the convention was unfurled into four Sessions. The topics  for  the sessions were : First Session was Essence of Pharmacy Education. Chairpersons were Dr.Amad Al Azzawi and Dr.B.P.Nagori ; Second Session was Team Based Learning. Chairpersons were Dr.Padma G M Rao and Dr.T.V.Narayana ; Third Session was Quality Assurance. Chairpersons were Dr. Padma G M Rao and Dr.R.S.Bhambar ; Fourth session was Open Session ; Chairpersons were Dr.B.G. Nagavi and Dr.Shobha Rani R.Hiremath. In open session interaction was done on critical issues for development of Pharmaceutical Education.
