16th  International Symposium on ‘Advances in Technology and Business Potential of New Drug Delivery Systems’ was organized by Controlled Release Society-Indian Chapter  on 23 rd and 24th February 2018 at ‘The Lalit, Mumbai’.

Delegate of nine students (Ashwini Kedar, Kanchan Koyate, Arunkumar Teotia, Dhiraj Khambe, Umesh Kaygude, Ashwini Mohurle, Nikhil Lohe, Nikita Sharma, Rajashri Lode) and one staff member Dr. Ashlesha P. Pandit attended the symposium. Total four posters Ashwini Kedar, Kanchan Koyate, Arunkumar Teotia and Dhiraj Khambe guided by Dr. Ashlesha Pandit were presented at the symposium. Posters were highly appreciated by the delegates. Foreign Speakers from industries and  universities such as Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Switzerland; Clevelan, Ohio, USA; Goethe University, Germany; University of Utah, USA delivered a talk on various current drug delivery systems. Symposium was informative and knowledgeable.
