Field Visit of M. Pharm Students at Sava Healthcare Ltd.

Indusrtial visit for M. Pharm second year students has been organized at ‘Sava Healthcare Ltd. R&D Center, Block No. D1, Plot No. 17/6, MIDC, Chinchwad, Pune -19 on Monday, 23/04/2018. Sava Healthcare Ltd is one of the leading Pharmaceutical Industry with wide range of healthcare products and services that are benchmark of 'Superlative Quality, Enviable Economy'.The company has speciality pharmaceutical products such as Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Analgesic, Anti-infectives. Students got an opportunity to interact with the scientists of Formulation and Analytical Develeopment Laboratory and got acquainted with the recent developments in the field of pharmaceutical indusrty. Scietists explained the processes of formulation of dosage forms and described about sophisticated instruments. Scientists also explained the functioning of the equipements and instruments such as capsule filling maching, tablet punching and coating machine, dissolution tester with autosampler, stability chambers, HPLC, GC, etc. Dr. Shrikant Dhawale and his team explained development of various dosage forms such as pulmonary delivery system, cotrolled drug delivery system and oral drug delivery system, whereas Dr. Shrinivas Bhope of analytical development enlighten students with various aspects of analytical method development and validation. Dr. Ashlesha P. Pandit, Dr. Atul S. Sayare, Dr. Prashant D. Ghode, Prof. Vinita Patole and Ms. Surabhi Takale participated in this industrial visit.
