National Voter’s Day Celebration
JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade, Pune celebrated National Voter’s Day (NVD), on Wednesday, 25 th January 2023 in the seminar Hall at 10:00 am. Voters’ Day has been celebrated on 25 th January every year, all across the country to mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India. The main purpose of the NVD celebration is to encourage, facilitate and maximize enrolment, especially for the new voters. Dedicated to the voters of the country, the day is utilized to spread awareness among voters and for promoting informed participation in the electoral process. The pledge of the Voters’ Day was taken by all the students and staff members under the guidance of Principal Dr. K.R. Khandelwal. Dr. Trupti Deshpande, Cultural and Extension activity In charge guided the students about the value of voting and inspiring them to take part in the election process.
