Jeevitnadi Abhiyan- River Clean-up Drive
At Jeevitnadi a NGO firmly believe that river revival is possible through active participation of the citizens. This initiative to protect rivers evolved into Jeevitnadi. Jeevitnadi works on various projects and is associated as one of the founders of Ramnadi restoration mission. It is also on advisory panels and recipient of many accolades and awards.
In collaboration with Jeevitnadi – Living River Foundation, JSPM’s RSCOPR conducted a “ River Clean-up Drive” at Ram Mula confluence, Baner to create awareness about preservation of river and maintain healthy river ecosystem.Second year B.Pharm students along with faculty co-ordinator Prof. Dr. Ashlesha Pandit and Prof. Madhavi Bindu actively participated in the drive.Students were happy to visit the lush green untouched area in the heart of the city and updated about river habitat. Thanks to our Principal Dr. K.R. Khandelwal for motivation and permission for the activity.
